Hey Joe, I just found your post. It went well, but now I am getting oil smoking out the right side. I have checked the rings, the valves were just done. I am going to do a leak down test to identify the problem area. I will find it soon. Other than some smoke, a blast to ride. Let me know how your project goes. Thanks

I would love to see more pics and the progress on the vw food truck. Im not sure if this is a good thing but we think alike. I have been contemplating a food truck conversion myself in NJ. It's nce to see someone with food experience making it happen. Would love to shoot the sh*t about it. Please call or respond 609-221-2521

Dude! I was looking for a VW bus and wanting to convert it into a kitchen. I would love to do a VW bus food business. I didn't find much of anything or ideas on converting a VW van into a food joint until I saw your work in progress to make one. This is such an awesome idea. I can't wait to see you get it finished and how it turns out. I also can't wait to one day have my own VW food cart business. Im glad there are more people with the same ideas as me on something like this. My only problem is coming up with a good title for the bus. Good work, and good luck.
